etFrame Professional trial terms

1. The trial

A registered user with a verified email address can try etFrame Professional free of charge for 14 days. The trial starts as soon as it is requested and ends automatically. The trial does not turn into a paid subscription, and no payment details are collected.

2. Who can try

  • One trial per user.
  • For now, the trial is open to Finnish companies (business ID). Other countries will be opened later; if a country's design standard and national settings are not yet implemented, the software calculates according to the Finnish national annexes and settings, and this is stated before the trial starts.
  • The trial is not offered if the user has or has had a paid etFrame license, or if an active agreement of their organisation gives them a license.
  • The trial is personal and cannot be transferred.

3. What the trial includes

The trial includes the features of etFrame Professional with the following limitations:

  • The printout is a preview with a trial marking; printing and PDF are not available.
  • Exports (such as DXF and the parts list), embedding and API keys are not included.
  • Designs are not signed. Models are saved to your account as on the Free tier; design results are shown during the session.
  • Add-on options are not included.

4. Data

For the trial you provide your own details and your company's details and answer a short profile survey. The data is processed as described in the privacy policy. The trial creates an organisation for your company with you as its administrator, unless the company is already an etFrame customer.

5. Messages

During the trial you receive service messages: a start message, a reminder before the trial ends and a short feedback survey on the day it ends. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate consent; consent is not a condition of the trial and can be withdrawn at any time.

6. End of the trial

When the trial ends, your account is on the Free tier. Your models stay in your account and still open. If you buy a license during the trial, the trial ends and your license takes effect. etFrame may end a trial that is used against these terms.

7. Other terms

Otherwise the etFrame terms of service apply to the trial.
